Rules

Needle Drop is a free online game where everyone listens to music together on one giant record. By creating an account or playing, you agree to these rules and to the YouTube Terms of Service, since the music plays through the YouTube player.

1. Your account

• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Your username must not be offensive, hateful, sexual, or impersonate another player, a moderator or a real person.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the minimum age required in your country).

2. The music you queue

• Only music can be queued. Videos are checked automatically; trying to get around this is not allowed.
• No songs chosen to shock or harass: hateful, violent or sexual content aimed at other players will be removed.
• Respect the crowd: if most listeners vote to skip your song, the next one starts.

3. Respect the other players

• No insults, harassment, threats, hate speech or discrimination in the chat or in usernames.
• No spam, advertising, scams, or sharing personal information (yours or someone else's).

4. Fair play

• No cheating: no bots, modified clients or tools that give an unfair advantage (Vibes, crates, votes...).
• No exploiting bugs. If you find one, please report it on the Discord.
• Do not attack, overload or try to break into the servers.

5. Vibes, crates and items

Vibes, crates and the looks they contain are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for real money. Watching or listening to music never costs anything.

6. Sanctions

Breaking these rules may lead, depending on its seriousness, to a warning, the removal of items obtained unfairly, a temporary suspension, or the permanent deletion of the account.

7. The service

Needle Drop is provided free of charge, as is, without any guarantee of availability. It may be changed, interrupted or closed at any time. Needle Drop is not affiliated with YouTube, Google or Deezer.
